Artists + AI Studio
Not anti-AI. Pro-craft. We put human drawing and AI workflow side by side and let students argue with both. By Day 20 every student presents human-only work, AI-assisted work, and an artist statement that defends the process โ honestly.
Pro-craft.
Not anti-tech.
Skilled human artists will always have a place โ concept work, illustration, fine art, character design, animation โ because audiences want a human point of view, not a remix. Learn to draw, then learn to direct AI. Skill makes the choice meaningful.
Human Craft
Manifesto, sketchbook ceremony, observation, line, value, light.
Prompt Anatomy
AI as pattern tool, prompt structure, ethics, style references.
Side by Side
Character + environment challenges in both workflows. Compare.
Gallery Panel
Polish, artist statements, debate rehearsal, public showcase.
Inside a single day.
The structure that runs all 20 days, shown with one day's content. Each block earns its time.
The Rules of Debate
No personal attacks. No "it's just stealing." No "you can't even draw." Argue from craft. The instructor referees.
How to Read an AI Image
Hands. Text. Edges. Lighting consistency. Pattern repetition. The five "tells" that betray AI work in the first three seconds.
Critique Round
Eight images on the wall โ four human, four AI. Cohort scores each on: originality / craft / intent / value. Debate one piece you scored high. Defend one piece someone else scored low.
Position Statement Draft
Write your honest position: tool / threat / both. One paragraph. You'll iterate on it all week toward the final artist statement.
Process Archive
Sketchbook page photographed. Position statement saved. Tomorrow's reference moodboard built.
