▶ Service hours & apprenticeship _

Need hours? Get them building something real.

High school and college students can earn service hours with us, and we are building toward registered apprenticeship placements through ApprenticeshipNC. Tell us where you are and what you need, and we will tell you honestly what we can offer right now. This form takes about five minutes.

01 · You
Use one you actually check, not your school address if it expires at graduation.
02 · School or college
Month and year is fine — “May 2027.”
Who signs off on your hours or work-based learning.
We will not contact them without telling you first.
03 · What you need
Leave blank if this is not about a required hour count.
A date or a term. “End of spring semester” works.
04 · What you bring and what you want
No wrong answer. “None yet” is a completely fine place to start.
Be specific if you can. “I can model but my textures look flat” tells us more than “3D art.” 0/400
Optional, and genuinely optional — plenty of people start here with nothing to show.
05 · When you are free
A date or “right away.”
06 · Paperwork and ApprenticeshipNC
North Carolina requires a parent or guardian signature on apprenticeship paperwork for 16- and 17-year-olds.
Required for paid work at 16 and 17 in North Carolina. It is free and takes about ten minutes online — not having one yet is not a problem.
Apprenticeship coursework can qualify for a tuition waiver, so this matters.
Scheduling constraints, accommodations, a specific goal, anything. 0/500

Fill in the form above and your message will build itself here.

Gmail, Outlook and Yahoo open a new tab with everything already written. “Mail app” only works if this device has one set up — on a desktop computer it often does nothing at all, which is why the other options are here.

If none of that works

Press Copy instead and paste it into a message to arcade01@lazrdojo.com, or call 336-502-9604 and we will take it over the phone. Nothing is submitted until you send it.

What happens next, and one honest note

We will reply within a week with what we can actually offer you right now. Service hours here are structured as student-led community work — running a free session for younger students, helping at a community showcase, building something the studio gives away — not unpaid labor for a business, because that is not legal and would not help you anyway. Apprenticeship placements are paid from day one and require you to be at least 16; we are working through ApprenticeshipNC registration and will tell you plainly where that stands when we reply.
